School Improvement

Under this motto, pupils, teachers and socio-educational specialists have collected ideas to change the appearance of the school a little bit. In the period before the autumn break and during the autumn camp, some ideas were taken up and put into practice. This gave the doors to the music, art and afternoon care room a new design.

In the stairwell, the pupils some multiplication basics. Some of the risers have been labeled with the 1 to 12 rows, so that there is the possibility to learn or deepen the 1×1 in passing.

Two walls were also redesigned with collages. The back wall of the music room was given a musical collage with guitars in the center, while the wall next to the care room focuses on the topic “What children need …”.

Particularly during the time of the COVID-19 pandemic, some of the children’s needs were restricted. The socio-educational specialists Ms. Schanz and Mr. Wedel took this as an opportunity to address the needs of the children in the autumn camp. On different colored clouds, which the students cut out in advance, they noted the things that are important to all children.

Through the various projects, all those involved dealt with the creative design of the school building and were able to implement the creative ideas.
